Class of 2012: Manolito Jaldon

Manolito S. Jaldon, Jr.
Archdiocese of San Francisco
St. Patrick Seminary and University

“What was once a thought became a tangible journey in my young adult life.  No one ever asked me if I wanted to be a priest.  Rather, the inclination to follow Christ was always present.”

From a young age, Manolito has been involved in many ministries which have inspired his love for the Faith, the Church, and for Christ.

He was an altar server, he became actively involved in youth and young adult ministry, and he is a classically trained pianist and organist who chose to devote his talent to sacred music and to his church choir.

Life in the seminary has opened up even more opportunities to serve others and to serve Christ, including volunteering at a soup kitchen, working with the St. Vincent De Paul program, visiting the elderly, assisting with RCIA, and serving on campus wherever he is needed.

For Manolito, the Rome Experience will be an opportunity to be “exposed to the life of the Church in Rome…to deepen my appreciation for our origin as the Church”, which will contribute to his already rich and active life in ministry.
